What type of web
sites are NOT ALLOWED?
If your intent is to have a site for uploading Copyrighted MP3's or
Adult Content, please DO NOT signup. Your site will be
suspended and deleted with no warning, and you will be ineligible
for a refund.

provided daily, but are for 'Recovery Purposes'. You are
responsible for backing up your own web site.

What databases are
allowed?
Currently, only Microsoft Access® 2000 (and prior versions) and SQL
Server® 2000 databases are supported. You can have as many
Access databases as your web space will allow. Only 1 SQL
Server database per domain. SQL Server databases can be
purchased for $25 per year per 50 mb space, via your Control Panel.
Limit 100 mb per domain.

Is there a size limit
for databases?
For Access
databases, size restrictions are based on the limitations of the
version of Access being used and by the amount of web space you have
available. For SQL Server 2000 databases - Each domain is ONLY
allowed 1 database with a maximum space of 100mb.

How many DSN's are
allowed for Access databases?
You are allowed as
many DSNs as you need for your Access databases. These can be
setup instantly from your Control Panel. Only 1 DSN allowed
for your SQL Server database. (SQL Server databases generally
take 24-48 hours for setup.)

scripting/programming languages are supported by your servers?
CGI/Perl, ASP (Active Server Pages), PHP, and Cold Fusion.

Through Gizmo Graphics Web Design's
Knowledgebase,
there are a few scripting hints, but generally they do not provide
programming support.

How do I transfer my
domain?
Transferring your Domain may sound difficult, but it really isn't.
In general, there are 2 DNS (Domain Name Servers) attached to your
domain name.
After signing up
for a web hosting account, Gizmo Graphics Web Design will make the
attempt to contact your registrar and inform them of the transfer.
This will only initiate a transfer 'request'. The Domain
contact will be sent an email and must be approved by that contact.
Gizmo Graphics Web Design is not always able to determine the
contact. In this case you must transfer the domain yourself.
We will provide you
with Gizmo Graphics Web Design's DNS names with your account
information, upon signup completion. You would need to contact
your registrar and ask them to change the DNS names for your domain.
Most registrars provide this type of action on their websites via a
user name and password. (This should have been provided to you
when you purchased the domain.)
After the DNS names
have been changed, it generally takes 2-5 business days for the
change to be propagated throughout the World Wide Web.

When you say FREE
new domains, is that really free, and for how long will they remain
free for me?
When you sign up
for a hosting account with a NEW domain name (a .com/.net/.org
domain not registered with anyone else), not only will the domain be
registered for you, but the domain registration fees will be paid
for you as long as you remain a customer.
If you cancel your
account with Simplicity Web or Gizmo Graphics Web Design, you will
then be responsible for the domain fees.

Do you provide for
acceptance of Credit Cards?
No. A
shopping cart is provided, as well as secure server access, but you
must procure this type of service.

Do you provide a
Shopping Cart?
Yes. You can have a shopping cart added
for your site at no cost (Cart32.com).
This is not created automatically with your account. You would
need to use your Control Panel to add this feature. We also
utilize a low cost, simple implementation JAC Shopping Cart as well
as an advanced PDG Shopping Cart.

How do I cancel my
account?
To cancel your account, simply send an email
request to
admin@gizwebs.com
with your Full Name, Domain Name, and your
reason for canceling. It may take up to two weeks to fully
complete your cancellation request.

Email
How do I access my
email account?
In your browser
address bar enter (use the following format): mail.mydomain.com or
enter your mail account from the Control Panel. Also, the
welcoming email you received will contain other instructions on how
to access your mail.

Can I use my own
email client, other than that provided via my web browser?
Yes. You can
use Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, and other email clients. Your
welcoming email contains instructions for some of the more popular
email clients.

What limits are on my
email accounts?
The limits on email
are only defined by the server / system resources available.
You can create unlimited email accounts / autoresponders / aliases,
etc. However, spamming is not a tolerated practice.
